I have a deep love for all kinds of music...I have many influences
ranging from country to the heaviest of rock bands to the
most laid back R&B.
I think it is very important to like all kinds of music
in order to become a better musician.
My professional experience includes a tour with Dottie West
(country legend), tour experience with Lorrie Morgan selling
over 10 million records, a clinic tour with the ROCK band
Cinderella. Studio work with legendary producer Bill Szymczyk
(EAGLES), Multi Platinum Artist Tracy Lawrence, countless
recordings...and has produced a LOT of artists and bands over
the last 10 years. I also played on Dolly Parton's "Those
were the Days" CD I played on the rock classic "Crimson
and Clover" with Dolly and Tommy James!
I currently serve as one of the tour managers for Dolly Parton.
I am also a freelance musician, songwriter and producer here
in Nashville.
I recently played on some tracks that Toby Keith produced
on his female background singer Mica you can check her out
on here www.myspace.com/micaroberts
she is an awesome singer and we wish her much success in 08.
The first release is a duet with Toby the song is called "What
Mama don't know" and we feel it's a smash.
My work history is pretty diverse and extensive. I am certain
that having an open mind musically has helped me through the
years. Try to become a "Musical Sponge" this will
be invaluable to your future. I have had the great pleasure
of doing everything from traveling in a van to touring in
the most elite tour buses...selling millions of records...anything
and everything in between.
Surround yourself with good hard working musicians who have
the same goals that you do. Finally stay positive and always
strive to achieve those goals you set for yourself and your
band, anyone who isn't striving to meet those goals.
I wish the best to you all in 08!
Stay tuned for details and
upcoming tour dates.
